Q: Do Multiwonen Verhuur Makelaars have a brokerage licence?
A: Yes, Multiwonen Verhuur Makelaars have a conciliation permit for the city of Amsterdam and surroundings. This brokerage licence has been requested from the Department of the city of Amsterdam. Multiwonen Verhuur Makelaars has full permit by the issue of the licence by the city to mediate in housing accommodations. You can see our conciliation licence in our Office.

Q: What is the registration procedure for house searchers?
A: By filling out the registration form on the website, you will register as a house searcher. You will then receive the current list of houses that fits your living wishes per email.

Q: What are the costs of the registration?

A: Multiwonen Verhuur Makelaars do not charge for the registration as a house searcher. We also do not charge any costs for viewing a house.

Q: When can I react on a dwelling?

A: By registering, you can react on houses we’re offering. You will then use the email address which you’ve used when registering.

Q: What costs do I have as tenant when renting a house?
A: The compensation for our work is equal to one month’s rent excl. VAT.

Q: What is the procedure for offering my house for rent?
A: By filling out the contact form on the website, you will sign in for house rental. Do you prefer to make a free personal appointment, please then contact us by phone.

Q: What activities do Multiwonen Verhuur makelaars do for the landlord?
A: For the tenant we do the following:
• taking pictures;
• promotion of the house on our website;
• promotion of the house on rental portal www.pararius.nl;
• the house will get a 'for rent’ sign;
• to do an in and out check inspection including check in and check out photography;
• arranging and escorting of visits;
• drafting a Dutch of English rental agreement;
• rental agreements with Dutch or English General Stipulations;
• guidance when signing the rental agreement;
• handling of the first payment (rent and deposit);
• presenting your house with fellow agencies.

Q. What is the height of the guarantee sum?
A. The height of the guarantee sum is equal to one or two months rent. This amount is used in conjunction with the rent at the first pay period to the lessee will be charged. The landlord transfers the guarantee sum after ending the rental agreement to the tenant, within two (2) months.

Q. Who takes care of the first payment period?
A. Multiwonen Verhuur Makelaars take care of the first payment period. This means that Multiwonen Verhuur Makelaars collects the payment of the total rental sum plus guarantee sum with the landlord. After this collection Multiwonen Verhuur Makelaars transfers this sum within 7 office days to the landlord.
